Inside St John the Baptist Church Mamble there are twin stained (Painted) glass lancet windows, which match the adjacent Johnson Window Memorial.(MAM3)

“This window is erected to the glory of God
and the memory of the men of the Parish
who fell in the Great War of 1914-1918”.

Edwin Jones April 14th 1918”
It was commissioned after hostilities ended 1919.
Benefactors included the People of the Parish and the Aston family (Colliery Managers), Davies family (Innkeeper and Farmers) and Jones family (Farmers)
