The History of Stourport Ancient Order of Foresters War Memorial

In the Wesleyan Methodist Church

The Ancient Order of the Foresters War Memorial is in the stairwell of Stourport Wesleyan Methodist Church.  It is a carved Mahogany wooden plaque with gold lettering and includes Ancient Order of Foresters emblem, which includes Stour Valley Court 4362.  It was made by Mr. E. H. Jones and unveiled by local dignitaries and clergy on 24th July 1922 in the Swan Hotel in High Street Stourport, where the Foresters used to met.  Date it was moved to the Wesleyan Methodist Church unknown.
